I have decided to get back into a hobby of mine of some 30 years ago, that involves programming the RCA 1802 COSMAC microprocessor. Instead of drinking, and drugging like many of my "friends" back in high school, I and a good friend of mine spent time under telescopes viewing the heavens, and inside at our desks building and programming a hobbyist computer called the Elf!

What you are looking at in the upper left-hand corner is a Elf-2K board that is a great reproduction of the original "Elf" from 1976! It got it just recently, and recommend enthusiasts to look on ebay for these, or contact www.sparetimegizmos.com to see if they have any more for sale! It is a great trainer at the machine-level of computer programming, and it launched thousands of careers in computing and telecommunications simply by inspiring and challenging the mind!

This web page is intended to share some of my memories, and my projects that I am attempting after so many years. Maybe it might encourage someone 15 years old or 50 years old to pick up an old microprocessor trainer board and get back to innovating and challenging our minds once again!
